i headed north for vacation. the first few days were spent in napa, where i got to meet my nephew CARSON for the first time. i also went wine tasting for the first time ever, i loved it and can't wait to go again. i then headed into the city for the new years eve's festivities and of course did some sight seeing! new years day was spent, as usual, with friends and drinks. and to top the trip off, on the drive home... it even SNOWED! welcoming 2011 with open arms and can already tell this is going to be the best year yet.

when i read beatles, forever this morning, i couldn't help but think of my own walk on abbey road. this was shot two of the day and eventhough its from the wrong angle, it turned out a lot better than the one that was at the wrong crosswalk. awkward to say the least, but thanks to the kind london chap who pointed us in the right direction.

my friend sam just moved into the city in san francisco, isn't her view amazing? i can't wait to go visit her in a few weeks. i heart the city by the bay.

my brother went boar hunting today. i'm not exactly sure why, but i don't ask questions. the thought of him with a gun kind of scares me, triggering flash backs from my childhood and being chased with bb guns. he's almost thirty, yet he looks just like a little kid in the picture, young at heart.
